Friday night live at Transistor: Scuttlebuggs and Green Book. Sound by Jon Monteverde.
Scuttlebuggs is a charming musical duo that originated in Michigan but blossomed in Chicago. The band is comprised of Kevin Golden (formerly of Beaten By Yuri) and Claire Kander (a squirrelly young lass who does voice-overs for commercials, among other things). People have likened their harmonious duets to The Everly Brothers, Simon & Garfunkel and Low. The material oscillates from Pleasantville to Creeptown, with some angelic siren songs in between. Inspired equally by the origins of country, folk, rock and doo-wop, this duo offers modern perspective to classic sounds. Enjoy. Please?

Also available: a previous Scuttlebuggs Transistor recording from March 1, 2013.
Also available: a Sunday Session with Beaten by Yuri (featuring Kevin)
Green Book is a musical project from south of Chicago that began as a result of a little extra free time and desire to create music. The band exists for no other reason than the enjoyment of playing music.
For their Transistor set Green Book played most of the songs off of their debut EP, "A Home, I Hope", along with a couple new songs.
