Friday night live at Transistor: Orange Nebula. Sound by Jon Monteverde.

Orange Nebula is an experimental duo from Chicago. Members Michael Nervous and hicksoncompactgroup (Matt Pataky) have been recording and performing together, as well as solo, for nearly two decades. Taking influence from electronic and experimental music, Orange Nebula uses various instruments combined with signature recording techniques to make songs that only unfold as they are created.

For this Transistor set Orange Nebula shared guitar duties while manipulating the music through an arrangement of effects processing and amplifiers. Performing improvised pieces against a backdrop of visuals the songs seemed to drift from one dimension to another. They performed two sets.
