Friday night live at Transistor: Radius with live video mixing by Byron Durham. Sound by Jon Monteverde.

A multidimensional hip-hop/electronic-based artist from South Chicago, Radius started crafting beats in 2001. After producing numerous tracks for local rappers he began to further hone his skills as a producer/live performance artist by winning in Chicago area beat battles and later performing in various hiphop/electronic showcases with the Moment Sound Crew (Garo, Lokua & Slava). He has rocked alongside notable artists like Blu & Exile, Eliot Lipp, Tall Black Guy, The Opus, Thavius Beck, Mux Mool, Dark Party, Maker and Guilty Simpson at various Chicago venues including Sonotheque, The Abbey Pub, The Subterranean, Darkroom, Metro, Reggie's Rock Club, Morseland, Rodan, as well as The Beat Swap Meet in Los Angeles.

Also available: a Radius Transistor performance from October 12, 2012.

Byron Durham has had a love affair with video art for the past 25 years. He is a founding member of the artists collaborative MFchicago, and has mixed live video for musicians and DJs in venues large and small throughout Chicago, the Midwest and beyond.
