Friday night live at Transistor: Visager and Pride and Joy. Sound by Jon Monteverde.
At Transistor, Visager and Pride & Joy performed their individual work and jointly performed songs from their 2014 collaborative release "Waltham Tapes."
Visager is a 24-year-old music producer from Brooklyn, NY. With a base in experimental electronic music, he incorporates field recordings, samples of forgotten lectures, and other unnoticed sounds to bend organic pop music into different worlds. Visager is currently working on the upcoming full-length album "The Cosmic Ocean" that marks a narrative beginning on ocean floors and ending in black holes.
Listen to Visager on Bandcamp and Soundcloud.
Pride & Joy is the music of Aaron Faucher, a young man living with his 88-year-old roommate in a quiet Waltham cape house. Faucher's recent release, "You Leave Me With No Words To Say," is an ecstatic and anxious wallowing in the mystery of G-d, distilled in the thin air of Mount Kilimanjaro, equal parts George Winston and Sicko Mobb.
